Two stamp cards in the Wallet, two business models
Goodly and Loopy Loyalty both create a stamp card that the customer adds to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, with no app to download. Loopy Loyalty is a product of PassKit, Inc., a Delaware (United States) company, sold in dollars worldwide; Goodly is a Belgian solution, sold in euros, with an interface and support in French and Dutch.
This comparison relies only on public facts, collected on loopyloyalty.com, docs.loopyloyalty.com and passkit.com on 10 October 2026, and on Goodly's pages (pricing, terms). Comparative advertising in Belgium is governed by article VI.17 of the Code of Economic Law: it must objectively compare material, relevant and verifiable features, without discrediting the competitor. That is the spirit of this article. Loopy Loyalty may change its offer at any time: always check the source page before deciding.
Loopy Loyalty in short: the Wallet card sold in dollars
Loopy Loyalty describes itself as a platform for "digital stamp cards in mobile wallets". The customer scans a QR code or opens a link, saves the card in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, and "doesn't need to install an app or create an account" (FAQ, loopyloyalty.com/faq, 10 October 2026). The merchant stamps with the Stamper app (iOS and Android) by scanning the card's barcode, or remotely from the web dashboard.
Three plans are displayed in US dollars (loopyloyalty.com/pricing, 10 October 2026): Starter at $25 per month or $250 per year (1 card design, 1 location, 3 Stamper users), Growth at $69 per month or $690 per year (3 designs, 3 locations, 10 users) and Ultimate at $95 per month or $950 per year (10 designs, 10 locations, 50 users, API access). All plans include unlimited customers, push messages, location-based messages, data export and Zapier and Make integrations. The page states "Save 20% with annual billing". The trial lasts 15 days with no credit card; the subscription can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the period; payments are "final and non-refundable" (refund policy of 9 December 2025) and fees exclude taxes (terms of 1 December 2025).
As a guide only, at the European Central Bank reference rate of 9 October 2026 (€1 = $1.1206), $25 is about €22.31, $69 about €61.57 and $95 about €84.78. The amount actually charged depends on your bank's rate and its exchange fees.
The website, pricing page, FAQ and documentation consulted are in English; the help centre offers English and Arabic. No French or Dutch page was found. The data processing addendum states that "Loopy Loyalty is a product owned and operated by PassKit, Inc." and that "customer data is currently hosted and processed in the United States" (docs.loopyloyalty.com, DPA updated 3 June 2026).

What Loopy Loyalty does well
A mature, well-documented Wallet card. Loopy Loyalty has occupied this niche for years, and its documentation covers every step: card design, enrolment, location-based messages, beacons, export. A merchant comfortable in English finds precise answers there.
Generous quotas at every tier. Unlimited customers from the first plan, unlimited push messages, 3 staff logins on Starter, and up to 10 locations and 50 logins on Ultimate. For a small English-speaking chain, the Ultimate plan at $95 is competitive.
Open automations. Zapier and Make are included on all plans, and the API is available on Ultimate: a merchant who wants to connect the card to an e-mailing tool or a spreadsheet can do so without a developer.
Why Goodly is the best choice for a local business in Belgium
Both solutions put the card in the Wallet without an app. The difference lies in the currency, the language, the legal framework and the included features.
A price in euros, excluding Belgian VAT, with no exchange surprises. Goodly displays €29, €69 and €149 excl. VAT per month. Loopy Loyalty bills in dollars: the amount in euros varies with your bank's rate and fees, and Belgian VAT remains yours to declare on a foreign invoice (reverse charge). For a shop's bookkeeping, a Belgian invoice in euros is simpler.
An interface and support in French and Dutch. Goodly works in six languages, for you and for your customers, and answers at contact@goodly.be in your language. On the Loopy Loyalty pages consulted, everything is in English, from the pricing page to the documentation. For a bilingual counter team in Brussels or a Dutch-speaking one in Ghent, that is a daily criterion.
Features included from €29. A staff till with separate access, verified transfer of stamps from paper cards, automated Google review requests, campaigns and offers on the card and Shopify and Lightspeed connections are included in Goodly Pro. At Loopy Loyalty, stamp transfer is done by hand, Google reviews are not mentioned and integrations go through Zapier or Make.
A Belgian framework for the data. With Goodly, you remain the controller and Goodly is the processor under article 28 of the GDPR (T&C art. 13), with a contract under Belgian law. Loopy Loyalty is operated by PassKit, Inc., a Delaware company, and hosts the data in the United States under standard contractual clauses. That is not prohibited, but it is an extra layer of documentation for your processing register; see Loyalty cards and GDPR in Belgium.
A readable guarantee and commitment. Goodly offers a 14-day trial, a monthly plan with no commitment and a 30-day money-back guarantee after going live. Loopy Loyalty offers a 15-day trial, then no refunds, even if you forget to cancel before renewal.
For a Belgian coffee shop, bakery or salon that wants a Wallet stamp card, in euros, in its language, with its team at the counter, Goodly is the most complete choice. The guide transferring stamps from paper cards shows how to start without losing loyal customers, and the Goodly vs Joyn comparison covers the Belgian network player.
Frequently asked questions: Loopy Loyalty alternative
What is the alternative to Loopy Loyalty in Belgium?
Goodly is a Belgian alternative to Loopy Loyalty: the same principle of a card in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet with no app, but billed in euros excluding VAT, with an interface and support in French and Dutch, a staff till, paper stamp transfer and Google review requests included from €29 excl. VAT per month. For the Belgian network player, read Goodly vs Joyn.
Can I migrate from Loopy Loyalty to Goodly?
Yes. Loopy Loyalty lets you export customer data at any time and cancel from the account settings, effective at the end of the billing period. On the Goodly side, you recreate your card in a few minutes and carry over earned stamps, card by card, with verification at the counter: the method is described in the guide transferring stamps from paper cards. Tell your customers with a notification on the old card before deactivating it.
Is Loopy Loyalty cheaper than Goodly?
For one location, Starter at $25 per month (≈ €22.31 at the ECB rate of 9 October 2026) is cheaper than Goodly Pro at €29 excl. VAT, but without a staff till in Goodly's sense, without automated Google reviews and in English. Growth at $69 (≈ €61.57) is close to Goodly Business at €69. Compare the twelve-month total, exchange fees included, with the features you really need.
Do my customers need to install an app?
No, neither with Loopy Loyalty nor with Goodly: the card is added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet from a QR code or a link. The difference for the customer is the language of the card and notifications, which you write freely in both cases; for you, it is the language of the tool and the support.
How do I try Goodly?
Create your card: a 14-day trial, then a 30-day money-back guarantee if the card has gone live with your customers (conditions in the terms). No hardware to buy: your phone or your till is enough.
