Two Belgian cards in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet
Goodly and FidelUp are two Belgian digital loyalty card solutions in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, with no app to download: FidelUp, published in Uccle (Brussels), offers stamp, points or status cards with referral, birthday gift and push notifications; Goodly offers a card in your own brand with stamps, points or tiers, a staff till, automated Google reviews, paper-stamp transfer and Shopify and Lightspeed connections.
This is the closest comparison in our series: both solutions share the same technical principle. The differences lie in included features, languages, integrations and terms. This comparison relies only on public facts read on fidelup.be on 10 October 2026 (pricing, how it works, FAQ and terms pages) and on Goodly's own pages (pricing, terms). Comparative advertising is regulated by article VI.17 of the Code of Economic Law: objective, verifiable, not misleading, without discrediting. FidelUp may change its offer at any time: check the source page before you decide.
FidelUp in short: Wallet, referral and notifications
FidelUp is operated by a sole trader established in Uccle (VAT BE1018350936), according to article 1 of its terms (last updated June 2026). The customer scans a QR code in the shop, fills in a quick form and their card is added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet; FidelUp announces activation « en moins de 20 secondes » (in under 20 seconds). At the counter, « vous ou vos vendeurs utilisez simplement la caméra d'un smartphone, d'une tablette ou d'une douchette standard pour scanner le QR code du client » (you or your staff simply use the camera of a smartphone, a tablet or a standard scanner to scan the customer's QR code).
Three plans are shown, excluding Belgian VAT: Starter €29.99 per month (unlimited customers, Wallet card, points, stamps or tiers, design customisation, basic statistics, integrated online scanner), Business €69.99 (plus advanced statistics, priority support, referral and birthday, employee and team management, push and geolocated notifications) and Multi-site €119.99 (plus multi-location management up to 3 sites and API access). Yearly, two months are free: €299.90, €699.90 and €1,199.90 per year. Every plan includes « 1 mois offert sans engagement, sans carte de crédit requise » (1 month free, no commitment, no credit card required). The site exists in French, Dutch and English.
The terms state that the subscription renews automatically, that it can be cancelled at any time free of charge with effect at the end of the current period, and that the period already started is not refunded (art. 7 and 8). For end customers' data, the merchant is the controller and FidelUp the processor, with a data processing agreement annexed (art. 11). FidelUp also runs a weekly draw for a €50 gift card « à dépenser chez les commerces partenaires » (to spend at partner shops), each scanned stamp counting as one entry.
Goodly in short: your card, your till, your Google reviews
Goodly creates a card in your name and your colours, added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet by QR code or link. You stamp from the dashboard, by scanning the customer's QR, by their 4-digit code or from the staff till, whose access is separate from your account. Stamps, points or tiers, push notifications, campaigns and offers on the card, automated Google review requests, transfer of stamps from paper cards, statistics, multi-site, Shopify and Lightspeed connections, six languages (FR, EN, NL, DE, IT, SQ).
Public prices excluding VAT are €29 per month (Pro, 1 card), €69 (Business, 2 cards, gift cards, geolocation) and €149 (Multi-site, 5 sites, then €20 per site), with a 14-day trial on Pro, 15 % off yearly, 20 % off over two years, a monthly subscription with no commitment and a 30-day money-back guarantee (see pricing).

What FidelUp does well
One month free on every plan. Thirty days without a credit card and without commitment, on Starter as on Multi-site: longer than Goodly's 14-day trial, which applies to the Pro plan only.
Well-designed engagement mechanics. Rewarded referral, automatic birthday gift, Bronze, Silver and Gold statuses, notifications triggered near the shop (Business plan): FidelUp has worked on the levers that bring a customer back between two visits.
A readable GDPR framework. Terms with an annexed data processing agreement, OVH hosting in France, automatic anonymisation of inactive cards after 24 months, controller and processor roles clearly separated: a merchant knows where their data is and who answers for it.
Why Goodly is the best choice for a local business in Belgium
Same principle, but Goodly includes more features that matter at the counter, in more languages, for a comparable entry price.
The staff till is included, not reserved for the higher plan. At FidelUp, employee and team management appears from Business (€69.99). At Goodly, the staff till, with its separate access and the customer's 4-digit code, is part of the offer from €29: your team stamps without ever entering your account. The guide a loyalty programme without changing your till describes this set-up.
Google reviews and paper-stamp transfer are included. Goodly automatically sends a Google review request after the visit and lets you carry over the stamps from an existing paper card. Neither feature appears in FidelUp's price grid or features page as read on 10 October 2026.
Six languages versus three. FidelUp offers French, Dutch and English. Goodly adds German, Italian and Albanian, for the German-speaking Community and for neighbourhoods where customers speak neither French nor Dutch.
More sites, and connected tills. Goodly's Multi-site plan covers 5 sites for €149 excl. VAT, or €29.80 per site, then €20 per additional site; FidelUp's Multi-site plan covers 3 sites for €119.99, or €40 per site, with no announced extension beyond. Goodly also connects to Shopify and Lightspeed; FidelUp mentions API access, with no named till or e-commerce connection.
A guarantee after the trial. After its 14-day trial, Goodly applies a 30-day money-back guarantee (terms art. 7). At FidelUp, the period already started is not refundable (terms art. 8). Both solutions are Belgian, under Belgian law and Belgian VAT.
For a bakery, a café or a salon that wants everything included from the first plan, Goodly is the most complete choice. The Goodly vs Joyn comparison covers the other major Belgian player, network-based this time.
Frequently asked questions: alternative to FidelUp
What is an alternative to FidelUp?
Goodly is the closest Belgian alternative to FidelUp: the same card in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet without an app, plus the staff till included, automated Google reviews, paper-stamp transfer, six languages and Shopify and Lightspeed connections, from €29 excl. VAT per month. For a network-based solution, see the Goodly vs Joyn comparison.
FidelUp or Goodly for a café or a bakery?
Both work without an app and stamp in one scan. The difference lies in the team: in a bakery where three people take turns at the counter, Goodly includes the staff till from the first plan, while FidelUp reserves it for Business. If your customers respond mostly to referral and VIP statuses, FidelUp offers those mechanics in Business.
Can I migrate from FidelUp to Goodly?
Yes. FidelUp can be cancelled at any time, with effect at the end of the paid period, and its terms provide for the export of your data at the end of the contract (art. 15). At Goodly, create your card, display the QR and carry over the stamps already earned with stamp transfer, described in the guide moving to the Wallet without losing stamps. Your customers add the new card to their Wallet in one scan; the old one stays on their phone until they delete it.
Is FidelUp cheaper than Goodly?
The entry prices are close: €29.99 excl. VAT at FidelUp, €29 excl. VAT at Goodly. Mid-range, €69.99 versus €69. Multi-site, €119.99 for 3 sites versus €149 for 5 sites. Compare what is included: the staff till, Google reviews and paper-stamp transfer are included at Goodly from the first plan. The guide to digital loyalty card prices in Belgium places these figures among eight solutions.
How do I try Goodly?
