Two solutions, two countries, one counter
Hey Pongo is a French all-in-one marketing platform for restaurants and physical shops, bringing together a loyalty programme, CRM, SMS and email campaigns, Google reviews and local SEO around a tablet placed on the counter; Goodly is a Belgian digital loyalty card added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet without an app, which you stamp from your phone, your dashboard or a staff till.
This comparison relies solely on public facts, checked on heypongo.com on 10 October 2026, and on Goodly's own pages (pricing, terms). In Belgium, comparative advertising is governed by Article VI.17 of the Code of Economic Law: it must objectively compare material, relevant and verifiable features, without discrediting the competitor. That is the rule this article follows. Hey Pongo may change its offer at any time: check the source page before deciding.
Hey Pongo in brief: a marketing platform for the restaurant trade
Hey Pongo SAS was founded in 2017 in Paris; its website states that "plus de 4 000 établissements l'utilisent en France" (more than 4,000 venues use it in France; heypongo.com/qui-sommes-nous, 10 October 2026). The heart of the offer is a tablet pre-configured in the shop's branding: "Vous la posez au comptoir. Elle est préconfigurée à votre image." The customer signs up by typing their phone number when paying, in "10 secondes" according to the page aimed at independents.
The loyalty programme page lists six enrolment channels: tablet at the counter, ordering kiosk, payment terminal at checkout, QR code on the table, Apple/Google Wallet or mobile app. The customer can therefore add their card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet; a "Brand App" in the shop's colours is also offered. Points are earned on purchases, but also for a Google review or a completed survey, with a points-per-euro ratio set freely by the merchant.
Hey Pongo highlights more than 60 integrations on its dedicated page, including Lightspeed (K-Series), Shopify, Square, SumUp, Zelty and L'Addition, as well as offers for franchises and multi-site brands. Prices are not published: the sales journey goes through a 30-minute video demo, "sans obligation de souscription" (with no obligation to subscribe). The terms published at heypongo.com/cgv apply to members, meaning end customers, not to the merchant contract.
Goodly in brief: your card, in the customer's Wallet
Goodly creates a loyalty card in your name and your colours, which the customer adds to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet by scanning a QR code or opening a link. No app to install, no tablet to set up. You stamp from the dashboard, by scanning the customer's QR, with their 4-digit code or from a staff till with separate access. Stamps, points or tiers, push notifications, automated Google review requests, campaigns and offers shown on the card, migration of stamps from paper cards, statistics, Shopify and Lightspeed connections, six languages (French, Dutch, English, German, Italian, Albanian).
Public prices excluding VAT are €29 per month (Pro, 1 card), €69 (Business, 2 cards, gift cards, geolocation) and €149 (Multi-site, 5 sites, then €20 per site), with a 14-day trial, 15% off annually, 20% off over two years, no commitment on the monthly plan and a 30-day money-back guarantee (see pricing).

What Hey Pongo does well
- A complete platform for restaurants. Loyalty, CRM, SMS and email campaigns, Google reviews, local SEO and dashboard are gathered in one tool, built for restaurants, chains and franchises.
- Very fast enrolment at the counter. The pre-configured tablet and phone-number sign-up let the customer join the programme while paying; ordering kiosks and payment terminals are supported too.
- A broad integration catalogue. More than 60 integrations listed, including the tills and ordering platforms most common in French restaurants.
Why Goodly is the best choice for a local business in Belgium
The table speaks for itself on six verifiable criteria.
Public prices and a trial, with no demo. Goodly shows its three plans excluding VAT on its pricing page and opens a 14-day trial from the sign-up form. With Hey Pongo, the price is only known after a 30-minute demo. For a café or bakery comparing three offers on a Monday morning, the difference is concrete.
Nothing to install at the counter. Hey Pongo relies on a tablet at the counter and phone-number enrolment. Goodly adds no hardware: the customer scans a QR code, the card goes into their Wallet, and you stamp from the phone you already own, from the dashboard or from the staff till. The guide loyalty without changing your till explains how this works.
Six languages, including Dutch. A Belgian business often serves customers in French and Dutch, sometimes in German or English. Goodly's card, notifications and dashboard exist in six languages. The Hey Pongo pages checked state no language other than French.
Features included from €29. Staff till with separate access, migration of stamps from paper cards, automated Google review requests, push notifications and campaigns on the card are all in the Pro plan. On the Hey Pongo pages checked, paper stamp migration and separate staff access are not mentioned.
A 30-day guarantee. Beyond the trial, Goodly refunds for 30 days if the card has been put into service with your customers, under article 7 of the terms. No equivalent guarantee appears on the Hey Pongo pages checked.
A Belgian solution. Goodly is built in Belgium, for Belgian businesses, with support in French and Dutch at contact@goodly.be. Hey Pongo reports more than 4,000 venues in France and does not mention Belgium on the pages checked.
To be fair: if you run a restaurant chain that wants an omnichannel CRM, local SEO and enrolment from ordering kiosks, Hey Pongo deserves a demo. For a Belgian local business that wants a card in the Wallet, at a known price, with no hardware and no commitment, Goodly is the simplest choice. See also the Goodly or Joyn comparison.
Frequently asked questions: alternative to Hey Pongo
What is the alternative to Hey Pongo in Belgium?
Goodly is a Belgian alternative to Hey Pongo for local businesses: a card in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet without an app, public prices from €29 excl. VAT per month, a 14-day trial, six languages including Dutch, and no tablet to install. For a comparison with the Belgian network player, read Goodly or Joyn.
Hey Pongo or Goodly for a café or a restaurant?
Hey Pongo is built for the restaurant trade, with kiosks, payment terminals and an omnichannel CRM: a restaurant chain will find a wide offer there. An independent coffee shop or restaurant in Belgium, which mainly wants customers to come back with a stamp or points card, is served by Goodly from €29 excl. VAT per month, with no hardware, automated Google review requests and a staff till for the team.
Can you migrate from Hey Pongo to Goodly?
Yes. First check the termination conditions of your Hey Pongo contract, which are not published on its website, and request an export of your customer data. Then Goodly lets you carry over the stamps or points already earned, card by card, with verification: see the guide on migrating paper stamps. Your customers add the new card to their Wallet by scanning a QR code.
Is Hey Pongo cheaper than Goodly?
Impossible to say from the public pages: Hey Pongo does not publish its prices and shares them after a demo. Goodly publishes its own: €29, €69 and €149 excl. VAT per month, -15% annually, -20% over two years. Ask Hey Pongo for a written quote with the commitment period, the cost of the tablet and of SMS, then compare the twelve-month total.
How do I try Goodly?
Create your card: a 14-day trial, then a 30-day money-back guarantee if the card has been put into service with your customers (conditions in the terms). Support replies at contact@goodly.be.
